JANUARY SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING OUTCOME

The Management Committee held the first of two Special General Meetings on Wednesday 10 January at 4.30pm. The meeting was to vote on a proposed revision of the organisations Constitution and implement operational changes to improve the management of the organisation.

The members present at that meeting unanimously voted to support the proposed changes. Thank you all who attended and asked questions. Thank you to Bob Aston and the Management Committee in general for the hours taken to do this slow but important detailed work.

In accordance with the constitution we now have to have the decision made on the 10th January endorsed by a second Special General Meeting which will take place on Wednesday 7 February 2024.

Meeting 2: Wednesday 7 February 2024 at 4:30pm in the NSoA Studios

An email from our Secretary Laurelle Pacey has been sent to members with details of the Special General Meeting along with the minutes from the meeting of 10 January. Explanatory notes of the changes proposed to the constitution can be viewed on our website HERE.

To vote at these meetings you must be a fully paid member. NSoA membership runs from 1 January to 31 December.
