NAROOMA GALLERY

Kick off your participation in this year’s River of Art (RoA) Festival by visiting the Narooma Gallery and viewing the River of Art Prize Exhibition.

The NSoA is proud to be partnering with the RoA once again as hosts of this exhibition they have brought back the ‘Salon’ exhibition, which will be on display in the NSoA Cottage (down the hill behind the Narooma Gallery).

The RoA is celebrating 20 years - yes 20 years of this special festival. This is an amazing accomplishment and one worth supporting. The festival is a time that many artists have an opportunity to showcase their work. Individual artist studios, galleries, music and performance venues are presenting the diverse and local talent of the Eurobodalla Shire.

Visit their website, see the whole program and plan your own festival experience.

Turned and Pressed Art

Thu 10 - Sun 20 October 2024

Hot on the heels of the River of Art Prize exhibition, don’t miss ‘Turned and Pressed Art’. This exhibition features turned wood by Tony Jaggers and new prints, drawings and paintings by Petti McInnes.

This is the first time these two local artists have shown together. Jaggers’ objects highlight the natural grain and structure of the wood resulting in an array of functional and sculptural objects. Mono prints, drawings and paintings of local flora are a focus for McInnes’ works.
