SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING OUTCOME

The special general meetings were held in January and February 2024. The outcomes of the special general meetings, namely changes to the NSoA Constitution proposed in the first Special General Meeting were accepted and endorsed in the second meeting. The minutes will be available at the 2024 AGM in April.

Thanks for all who attended and helped us refresh and update our constitution.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The AGM for 2024 will be held on Tuesday 9 April 2024 @ 6pm. Yu need to be a current member to be eligible to vote. You can fill in a member application form here; and pay for your membership here.

We are looking for members to join us on the Management Committee. We are a dynamic team working on the building project as well as managing the organisation. We are looking for people who can contribute skills and participate in keeping the arts a vital part of the Narooma community. The Management Committee and sub committee meetings are monthly.

You can email the Secretary if you are interested in learning more about what is involved.

NAROOMA GALLERY

Narooma Gallery

2024 was off to a good start with three exhibitions across January and February. A big thanks to all participating artists in the NSoA Members exhibition which ran from 6 December 2023 to the 5 January 2024. Each exhibition had very good attendance and sales. Locals and tourists alike come in to see the exhibitions, the gallery gives you our members, and other artists, an opportunity to have your work seen, appreciated and potentially purchased.

Wouldn’t it be great if every holiday house in Narooma, Kianga and Dalmeny had original art work bought through the Narooma Gallery.

We have two exhibitions booked for April and September. We will post details on the Gallery page on our website closer to the events. The Gallery will be open all year. If you have been thinking of having an exhibition submit an application now.

Additionally the Kindred Kollective is looking for Mentors and Facilitators to enable exceptional creative programs and/or provide mentoring for young people. If you have experience engaging with aspirational and creative people aged from 12-24, they want to hear from you! You may be required in and out of usual business hours, including during school holidays.

FACILITATORS

We are seeking artists who have experience delivering workshop style experiences in group settings with young people. Facilitating at Kindred Kollective may include collaborating with other facilitators and creatives. We are excited to hear what ideas and creative outlets you can bring to this project.
