The nakedness in one of Michalangelo’s fresco was painted over. Bill Henson’s work of a nude teenager caused a scandal. Paul Ryan’s work was labelled ‘offensive’ and Rolfe Harris ‘ work was taken down. The selection of Australia’s representation for the Venice Biennale in 2025 has been rescinded.
