Tess Horwitz and Barbara McConchie

The works in this exhibition are concerned with looking at, and reflecting on, the natural world. The intricate studies of remnant objects such as shells and bones, are contrasted with wider landscapes. There is the pleasure of discovery through observation and views that are simultaneously real and imagined. These drawings, collages, watercolours and paintings locate personal connections to our environment. They respond to the intricacy, wonder and unease of nature, providing small windows into different ways of looking and seeing.
