Narooma Arts Centre Technical Officer

Casual 21 hours per week - Fixed period contract 30 March to 30 June

We are seeking a dynamic and organised person to take on the position of Technical Officer. The NAC Technical Officer will play a key role in preparing the new arts centre for operation and public opening. This position is responsible for the practical setup and commissioning of studios, exhibition spaces and storage areas, and for ensuring that all technical systems, equipment and workspaces are safe, functional and compliant with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.

The NAC which includes a new purpose-built gallery and studio space is being built next to the Kinema and will reinvigorate this arts hub in the heart of Narooma. Join us in realising this long held vision to create a dedicated space for the community to engage in the arts.
