The details
Narooma Gallery provides a space for artists to exhibit. Showing work by emerging, mid-career and established artists in the gallery actively supports and promotes the arts and culture in Narooma
The Gallery is open to applications from artists, designers, crafts people, curators, guilds, associations and for group and solo exhibitions. Bookings commence on a Wednesday and end on a Tuesday.
This time frame includes the installation day and the deinstallation day; e.g. Hire begins Wednesday, commence installation; exhibition open to public Thursday to Monday; deinstallation and clean up Tuesday.
Proposals are assessed by the Gallery Committee. Selection of exhibitions is made on the merit of the exhibition proposed and consideration is given to the dates available and the annual overall program.
When a proposal is accepted the committee will notify the artist(s) and issue a contract via email. Upon signing the contract a bond is payable. The bond will be returned in full or in part by direct deposit within 30 days, after an inspection of the premises at 3pm on the closing day or by negotiation.
Gallery Hire Fees
all prices GST inclusive except the bond which is refundable
Bond $100.00
Members
Weekly Hire $120.00
Day Hire $40.00
Additional days $20.00 if the exhibition is extended beyond a regular week e.g. 10 days.
Non Members
Weekly Hire $140.00
Day Hire $50.00
Additional days $25.00 if the exhibition is extended beyond a regular week e.g. 10 days.
