Artistic Stitch is a series of workshops hosted by textile artist Alison Bogg. Across this course you will explore different ways to incorporate stitch-based techniques with mixed media to develop artwork.

Techniques/applications include: mark making with stitch, Japanese Sashiko & Boro, stitch with dye, print, photo/graphic media, textile collage, hand painting, applique, sculptural stitch, & experimental embroidery.

Most materials are provided. No experience necessary.

This workshop is led by textile artist Alison Bogg. Alison’s professional background encompasses set/costume design, costume technology, textile arts, puppetry, & arts education, which influences her work, with a focus on experimenting with textile surface design, indigo dyeing & shibori. Alison is a member of the Eurobodalla Fibre & Textile Artists Group (EFTAG), Narooma School of Arts & Craft Australia.
